The FossilEDU Staff has combined their years of classroom experience to build a strong sense of appreciation for Florida's paleontological history. In addtion to being seasoned teachers, they are all experienced fossil hunters. They have discovered and identified numerous specimens and will bring their finds to you!
We truly believe that in order for students to learn, that they must be active participants in the process. With this in mind, all our fossils are available for visual inspection. We also encourage students to touch our specimens, so that they can learn using Multiple Intelligences. Our staff couples a multimedia Power Point presentation, hands on investigation and stories from their adventures to ignite a sense of wonder among students about where they live.
